It is I who should thank you - your gift to Kimi of the Jonathan Strang & Mr Norrell book caused my wife and I to check out Susannah Clarke's website, realize that we strongly agree to her choice of both top 5 books as well top 5 authors, and so we ordered hard copies of both books that night. You affect more people than you know. And I really like your latest journal entry. Reading your stuff is a pleasure. And, yes, Kimi is hounding me to read TIW which I will. Thank you again.
The hardback copy is a monster, but it's nice because there are lots of footnotes in small text that are easier to read in the hardback version.
